WHAT WE DO?
HEALTH ON THE MOVE
NNK supports people excluded from public healthcare, preventing diseases through hygiene kits, showers, anti-scabies packs, and laundry services, while also providing specialized treatments such as dental and ophthalmological care.
We also address mental health by offering psycho-emotional support sessions and organizing leisure activities that promote well-being, resilience, and dignity.
AID DISTRIBUTIONS
NNK provides essential material support to people on the move, including food packs, shopping vouchers, and clothing such as shoes, blankets, and sleeping bags, helping to strengthen their self-protection. This assistance is tailored to the specific needs communicated through our hotlines, where individuals share their requests and our field team organizes distributions accordingly.
Beyond material aid, our goal is to offer empathy and a clear message of solidarity—reminding people that no one is alone.
SEARCH & RESCUE
As documented in our reports, many people on the move, including families and minors, are found lost and in urgent need of assistance. In response, NNK conducts land-based search and rescue operations in extreme conditions, such as frostbite, injuries, and disorientation.
Our aim is to provide immediate life-saving support, ensure people in dire situations receive urgent care, and notify authorities to safeguard their fundamental rights.
VIOLENCE MONITORING & LEGAL PROTECTION
NNK acts as a watchdog against border violence by monitoring and documenting abuses. We identify and investigate violations of rights, collect testimonies from survivors, and compile this evidence into advocacy reports to raise social awareness and to influence political decision-making.
Moreover, we pursue strategic litigation for individuals in distress, combining immediate support with long-term structural change.
