what?

HEALTH ON THE MOVE

NNK provides first aid directly to people excluded from public healthcare systems, helping prevent diseases through the distribution of hygiene kits, access to showers, anti-scabies packs, and laundry services, while also covering specialized treatments such as dental and ophthalmological care.

In addition, we address mental health by offering psycho-emotional support sessions and organizing leisure activities that foster well-being, resilience, and a sense of dignity.

AID DISTRIBUTIONS

NNK provides essential material support to people on the move, including food packs, shopping vouchers, and clothing such as shoes, blankets, and sleeping bags to help strengthen their self-protection. This assistance is tailored to the specific needs communicated through our hotlines, where individuals share their requests and our field team organizes distributions accordingly.

Yet, beyond the material aid, what we aim to deliver is empathy and a clear message of solidarity—reminding people that they are not alone.

SEARCH and RESCUE

We conduct land-based search and rescue operations where people are exposed to extreme risks such as freezing temperatures, frostbite, injuries, and disorientation.

As documented in our reports, many families and minors are found lost and in urgent need of assistance. Our team aims to provide immediate life-saving support, ensuring that people in dire conditions receive urgent care while also notifying the authorities to safeguard their fundamental rights.

VIOLENCE MONITORING & LEGAL PROTECTION

NNK acts as a watchdog against border violence by monitoring and documenting abuses. We identify and investigate violations of rights, collect testimonies from survivors, and compile this evidence into advocacy reports. These reports are used both to raise social awareness and to influence political decision-making.

In parallel, NNK provides legal counseling and protection to individuals in distress, combining immediate support with long-term structural change.
